Lofi Engine#

Hello everyone!

Welcome to this just-focus-on post series, where I will present different projects or subjects that I find cool.

For the first post, I will present lofi-engine.

It is a lofi music generator, where you are the artist.

What’s interesting is that you can really customize your ambiance as you wish, add sound effects, change the background image, etc.

The application is currently available on linux, mac, and windows, but I opened an issue to add a docker image.

Personally, I wanted to use it as a web application… and since it’s a svelte and nodejs project, I just built the project and ran it without going through rust (normally zero source code modification is necessary).

You can find the instance I host at lofi.ce-dev.eu.
